Vista 64bit crash

I am going to bank it's a Vista issue. Vista usually doesn't cause any issues besides cancelled downloads. There's a chance that it's crashing while trying to access the DirectX9 files. You'll probably want to download and install the following Direct X files. The I7 chip you're running is still pretty new and could be causing the issue.

Assuming you're comfortable doing so, I would recommend disabling the hyper-threading on the CPU temporarily. Try playing the game with that feature disabled so we can see if it is causing the problem. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Can you stay in game for longer if you change your graphical settings to the minimum? If so, then it could be a memory issue of some sort. I built a brand new machine during the second week of January that included an i7 processor.

It hasn't had any issues at all running EQ2 no crashes while playing, etc. Members List Mark Forums Read. Search Advanced…. Log in Register.

Hello all, I am running an AMD 3. I can boot the game fine, and even get to see the starting position on the campaign. However, as soon as I click to move a unit, the game crashes to the desktop. The game also seems to think that I have less then mb of video memory, which I am assuming is the cause of the problem. Any help would really be appreciated. Apr 8, 83 0 ino-co.
